Our story

Mike's Auto Body opened its doors in Fall River in 1982. Today, Mike Penachoruns the shop. Over four decades and three generations later, we're still in the same building, still family-run, still the same people you'd call. The shop has grown. We added a state-of-the-art paint booth, a laser-measurement frame machine, in-house ADAS calibration, and a full complement of I-CAR Gold Class Certified and ASE certified technicians. But the approach is the same one that's always worked: treat every customer the way we'd want to be treated.

Mike also owns Complete Auto Tech Center, and his son Matthew runs All Day All Night Towing: three businesses under one family that together cover everything you'd need after an accident or to keep your vehicle running. When your car is here for body work, we can coordinate the tow, the mechanical service, and the rental with one phone call, one family standing behind all of it.

What drives us

Mike has always been passionate about one thing more than anything else: doing the repair right. Too many body shops cut corners on parts, skip procedures to hit a faster cycle time, or substitute aftermarket components where OEM is what your vehicle was built with. The customer pays the price in a repair that isn't as safe as it should be. We refuse to work that way. Every repair we do is completed to OEM manufacturer safety standards — the same specifications your vehicle came off the assembly line to. That's why our customers come back, and why they send their friends and family.

Certifications & equipment

Mike’s Auto Body is I-CAR Gold Class Certified — the highest tier of collision-repair training in the industry. Fewer than 10% of body shops in the country meet the standard. Our technicians are also ASE certified and complete continuing education every year to stay current on new vehicle platforms.

Our shop includes a downdraft paint booth, a frame machine with laser measurement, aluminum welding, hydraulic wheel straightening, in-house ADAS camera recalibration targets, and the diagnostic scan tools needed for every major manufacturer.
