What we collect
When you send us a message, text us, request an estimate, book an appointment, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details, insurance information, and any photos or videos you upload. We don't collect any of this unless you type it in or attach it.
We also collect a small amount of technical information through analytics -- which page you viewed, what site sent you here, your approximate region, and your device type -- but only after you accept the cookie banner. Decline the banner and no analytics data is collected.
Photos you upload
Photos and videos you send through our photo estimate tool go to Body Shop Booster, the service that runs our estimate and messaging tools, and are only shared with our estimating team. We keep them while they're relevant to your repair and delete them on request. Email info@mikesab.biz and we'll have them removed.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number in our contact form, “Text Us” chat, or estimate tools and agree to receive texts, we'll text you about your request: estimates, appointment reminders, repair status updates, and other service messages. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts isn't a condition of any purchase.
We don't sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. They're used only to send the messages you agreed to, and shared only with the service provider that sends those messages for us (Body Shop Booster).
Newsletter and sister-business sharing
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email to send occasional updates: seasonal car-care reminders, advice about insurance claims, and the like. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter we send.
Our subscribe form has an optional checkbox to also receive updates from our family of businesses (All Day All Night Towing and Complete Auto Tech Center). Only if you check that box do we share your email with those two shops. Skip the box and your email is only used for Mike's Auto Body communications.
Third-party services we use
- Body Shop Booster runs our contact form, our “Text Us” messaging, our photo estimate tool, and our appointment calendar. What you type or upload in those tools is stored in Body Shop Booster's system so our team can follow up by phone, email, or text, and Body Shop Booster handles it under its own privacy policy. Its forms use Google reCAPTCHA to keep out spam, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- SendGrid sends our emails, like newsletter welcomes. Your email address passes through SendGrid's system whenever we send you a message.
- Google Sheets: when you sign up for our newsletter or updates, we record the details you provide (like your name and email) in a private, staff-only Google spreadsheet so we can follow up and keep track of requests. It's handled under Google's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs quietly in the background on our forms to keep spam and bots out. It's a privacy-friendly, cookieless bot check; Cloudflare processes limited technical signals (like your IP address and browser characteristics) to tell humans from bots, per Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics (GA4): if you accept our cookie banner, GA4 helps us understand which pages people use so we can improve the site. IP addresses are anonymized. You can opt out at any time by clearing cookies, declining the banner on your next visit, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity: if you accept our cookie banner, Clarity gives us anonymized heatmaps and session replays -- where visitors click and scroll -- so we can see what's working and fix what isn't. It masks the text you type and other sensitive content by default, and we don't use it to identify you. Data is handled per Microsoft's Privacy Statement. Decline the banner and Clarity never loads.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information. Apart from the services listed above, which work on our behalf, we don't share your data with anyone outside our family of businesses, and only then if you opt in. We don't use your photos for marketing without asking you first.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete, correct, or send you a copy of the data we have about you at any time. Email info@mikesab.biz or call (508) 675-1194 and we'll respond within 30 days.
